Just got back from a week at Ormand Beach. We played on the beach everyday & ate lots of seafood…enough said!

This week I was reading Acts 16:5, “So the churches were strengthened in the faith and grew daily in numbers.”
Healthy churches do both…they are strengthened in their faith & they grow larger in numbers. This is the purpose for the church.
Discipleship & Evangelism
Deeper Walk & Wider Reach
Inward Discipline & Outward Influence
You can have both! Too many churches focus on one over the other.
Deep believers & no converts = Inward focused and results in a “country club mentality”.
Many coverts & no disciples = Outward focused and results in a huge backdoor.
Healthy churches focus on inward discipline & outward influence – at the same time! They are growing up and reaching out simultaneously.
