Today we visited the coastal city of Keelong. This is our last day in Taiwan…so we tried to experience all that we could. We ate some of freshest seafood, I’ve ever eaten. Today we went to Wulai, a village south of Taipei in the mountains. It is the traditional home of one of Taiwan’s Aboriginal tribes, the Atayal tribe. It also has the highest waterfall in northern Taiwan. The scenery was beautiful and it was a nice change of pace from the city.

This is Emma’s 兔子 (tù zi). She loves her pink rabbit and carries it everywhere we go. Here we are waiting for the bus in Taipei.

We are in serious trouble! Emma already loves to accessorize. Apparently she likes the camera as well. She is SO MUCH like her mother.

Taipei 101

We went to Taipei 101, the world’s largest building, today. Emma got the camera and took almost 100 pictures. She had a blast. Unfortunately it was raining & cloudy so you couldn’t see anything from the top of the building.

AIT Appointment

We had our final AIT appointment today. It’s official. We have Emma’s passport so we can head back to the states. Just 2 more days in Taiwan…then we are homeward bound.Emma drew pictures today of her family…her baba (daddy), mama (mommy), gege (older brother), & didi (younger brother)…she was so proud to show me!
